Pressing Toward the Mark, Inc. - Transitional Housing
About Us
Pressing Toward the Mark Inc., was formed in 2010 to respond to the needs of homeless women in the Twin Cities area and women that are exiting the criminal justice system. Most of these women have experienced long term effects of chronic homelessness, unemployment, chemical abuse and mental illness. We are a non-profit social service agency licensed as a board and lodging facility.
Mission Statement
To enhance self-esteem and self resiliency by providing independent living skills, employment training and housing services to single adult women.
Target Population
Homeless women, 18 years of age or older, functioning at an age appropriate developmental level and in a healthy mental state qualify for assistance through our program. Women diagnosed with a mental illness may be admitted at the discretion of Pressing Toward the Mark Inc. based upon diagnosis, a treatment plan and their ability to comply with therapy and medication monitoring.
